Volunteer: Add Credibility to your Career
Here is the perfect event for you to find out more about volunteer opportunities!
Many employers are looking for well-rounded graduates who have more on their resume than just study. Volunteering is a great way to contribute to the community, enhance your employability, meet new people, and develop transferable workplace skills. It’s a win-win situation!
in 2017 we had 55 organisations and 1500 Students through the doors. The Expo will give you the ability to speak directly with organisations about current volunteering opportunities and how you can get involved. It is a fantastic opportunity to gain industry-specific experience that is relevant to your study area and will challenge yourself both personally and professionally.
Come along to explore opportunities, get experience, improve your resume and develop your community spirit! There will be puppies in attendance as well as a free coffee cart!
This is a free event and all UQ students and staff are welcome to attend.
See the list of organisations attending on StudentHub.
